California Writers Club, the largest professional writers organization in America, was founded by Jack London in 1909. To honor literary accomplishment,

we sponsor The Gabriella Stone Writers Award.

This includes three quarterly competitions: 1) Fiction - 2) Poetry - 3) Nonfiction. Monthly nominations are made for publication. CWC-SFV will publish the winners in The Scribe, our monthly journal.1 Copyrights remain with the authors. Published and unpublished manuscripts are eligible. Anonymous literary professionals judge the awards. Winning manuscripts may be circulated through public media, libraries, schools, subscriber membership and over the Internet.2
